Do you need a money back guarantee?

Labelers that come with money-back guarantees

Why the Guarantee?

Money-back guarantees are used by companies that charge the most for their products, as a way to make the customer comfortable spending a large amount on something they feel they may be able to get for less. Usually, if the product is reasonably priced and from a reputable company, no money-back guarantee is needed, because the customer knows that if they have any problems, the company they trust will take care of them.

Money-Back Guarantee, or solid return policy?

If you don't like it, get your money back! Be careful, if a company has to offer your money back, it may be that they feel they can't win your business any other way. Perhaps they feel like they have to give you some great reason to try their product, or perhaps they feel like you don't trust them as a company.

With most companies, a simple return policy is enough, without all of the fanfare of a guarantee. If you're not satisfied with a product you purchase at a local store, for example, they'll give you your money back under their return policy. Most companies have a return policy, and don't feel the need to advertise a slick "money back guarantee". Companies you can trust know that what they offer is worth while, and plan on treating you right in the first place.

Always ask a labeling company about their return policy. Money-back guarantees usually only cover a first-time order, and are designed to get people to buy. Return policies are ongoing, and protect the consumer with every order, every time.
